The first programme sees two Italian restaurants go head to head as they prepare a three course meal under Gordon’s watchful eye. Who will be good enough to wow the F Word diners and go on to fight for the title of The F Word’s Best Local Restaurant?

Two Indian restaurants go head to head. Curry is one of Britain’s favourite dishes so the pressure really is on. Gordon continues his search for the world's best ingredients, travelling to Scotland to hunt deer to create a new recipe - Venison Masala.

The F Word (UK) - Episode 3

In tonight’s programme, two French restaurants go head to head - Bouchon Bistrot, Hexham; and The French Table, Surbiton. They prepare a three course meal under Gordon’s watchful eye - including foie gras, rack of lamb, grey mullet and crepes suzette.

The F Word (UK) - Episode 5

So far Gordon has found his best Italian, Indian, French, Chinese and in tonight’s programme, Gordon and his team travel around Britain looking for brilliant local Thai restaurants before inviting the best two to cook in the F Word restaurant.

Spanish restaurants El Gato Negro from Yorkshire and Lola Rojo from London face one of their biggest ever challenges, as they prepare a three course meal under Gordon’s watchful eye – including prawns, sea bass, fish stew and churros with chocolate.

Gordon has found his best Italian, Indian, French, Chinese, Spanish and Thai restaurants, now he turns his attention to food from North and South America. Discover Bay, a Caribbean restaurant goes head to head with Santa Maria Del Sur, an Argentinian.

Gordon and his team travel around Britain looking for brilliant restaurants serving food from all over the gobe, and invite the two top contenders – Greek Retsina and Moroccan Doukan, both from London – to battle it out in the F Word kitchen.

Best British restaurant The Pheasant and best Thai restaurant Simply Thai will be joined by Greek Retsina, all competing for the chance to cook in the grand final at the F Word restaurant.

The F Word (UK) - Episode 12

Gordon’s search for The F Word’s Best Local Restaurant reaches its climax in tonight’s grand final. Following 10,000 nominations from the public, only six made it through to the semi-finals and now the final two battle it out to be crowned the 2010 winner.
